Appointments
Doctors consulting at Park Ridge know your health and time are valuable, so they all run by appointment. Appointments can be made by phoning reception 38020899 or online at hotdoc.com.au. Please note that your doctor may require longer intervals for some consultations such as pap smears, several concerns or full medicals. Doctors consulting at Park Ridge all offer standard consultations of 10-15 mins.
Consultation Payments
The Doctors consulting at Park Ridge all conduct private billing practices, hence a fee is payable for each consultation with your doctor, however on the spot claiming, linked to Medicare, is facilitated at reception. Your Medicare rebate can be returned onto an Eftpos card meaning you leave with only the out of pocket expense.
Aged Pensioners
Pensioners 70 and over (Excluding Saturdays) who have a Valid HCC can be bulk billed by the Doctors consulting at Park Ridge.
Children 15 & Under
Children 15 & Under are Bulk Billed (If at school, Excluding Saturdays) by doctors consulting at Park Ridge

Procedures
All procedures will incur an out-of-pocket expense that could range from $50 – $500. Your Doctor will advise of this out-of-pocket expense on consultation. Please note there is no Medicare rebate available on cosmetic lesion removal.
Gynecology Consultations and Procedures
Out of pocket expenses for Gynecological procedures and consultations range from an $80 to $250 out of pocket expense.
WorkCover
WorkCover consultations are privately billed at WorkCover rates. Rebates must be obtained from WorkCover.
Skin Checks
Appointments are private billed at the standard consultation rates listed above.
Vaccination Appointments
Vaccination appointments are billed at consultation rates listed above. There is no extra cost for the administration of vaccines with the Practice Nurse.
Dressings & Treatment Room Costs
Dressings and Treatment Room costs may occur. There is no Medicare Rebate for these consumable charges.
Diabetic, Asthmatic & Health Check
Appointments with Park Ridge Nurses: Bulk Billed
All Public Holidays and Consultations Outside of 8am and 6pm
$105.00 – Consult up to 15mins (Medicare Rebate returned to any EFT card instantly $49.80)
$165.00 – Consult 15-30mins (Medicare Rebate returned to any EFT card instantly $85.30)
Medicals (Hobby & Commercial ect)
Medicals are privately billed by your doctor at standard AMA rates of $95 + GST per 15 minutes as well as any additional costs that may be incurred as requested on the Medical Form. All Medicals require a minimum ½ hour appointment. Please Note: No Medicate rebate is refundable on medicals that are not related to an illness such as work related, cadet, hobby, travel, insurance etc.
Referrals & Scripts
A referral to a specialist requires a letter from your doctor. You will need to make an appointment to see your doctor for a referral. Scripts also require a visit to your doctor to enable them to monitor your progress. If you lose your script or referral a $10.00 fee is payable for reprinting. Scripts cannot be re-written if it has been 8 weeks since your last visit to your Doctor. Your Doctor may also request a consultation.
Medicare Rebate.
If a Medicare Rebate is available for your consultation, Medicare’s Easy Claim is available for all Medicare Rebates. Simply bring an EFT (savings or Chq) card and you can receive your Medicare refund instantly! Telephone Consult Rebates will be processed over the phone and sent to Medicare with the Rebate going into your account in 2 days.
