Alma Opus – Plasma RF

Alma Opus Plasma RF Treatments

The Alma Opus is a non invasive skin tightening and resurfacing treatment that uses fractional plasma and radiofrequency technology to target and treat various skin concerns, such as wrinkles, fine lines, scars, and uneven skin texture.

This combination enhances skin firmness and elasticity, stimulates collagen production in deeper tissue with minimal discomfort and downtime, offering customisable treatments for various skin types and concerns.

Featuring Alma’s proprietary high frequency, unipolar technology, the Alma Opus system’s Opus Plasma® handpiece is the first-of-its-kind Fractional Plasma® technology to enter the skin resurfacing market. This novel solution addresses superficial to complex textural and skin-quality concerns that are traditionally corrected with conventional fractional resurfacing lasers or full-field ablative resurfacing lasers, but with less downtime and a higher safety profile.

The concept of combining a plasma laser with radiofrequency is the main advantage of this machine With the Opus plasma laser, you are, essentially, making tiny injuries in the skin that are much like those in microneedling treatments. Then, radiofrequency can access the skin at a deeper level.

The Alma Opus has taken America by storm and is fast becoming a must have rejuvenation treatment here in Australia.

The treatment experience

The Alma Opus offers two treatment solutions.

The more ablative ‘Opus Plasma’ treatment delivers energy in the form of plasma sparks, that create micro-injuries to the skin, initiating the body’s natural healing process and thus stimulating enhanced production of collagen and elastin. A topical anesthetic is applied beforehand to minimize discomfort, and most patients experience only mild sensations of warmth or tingling during the procedure. The Radiofrequency treatment ‘UniFace’ delivers thermal energy to the deeper layers of the skin, enhancing the skin’s firmness and elasticity.

Best For:

  • Comprehensive Non-Surgical Skin Rejuvenation
  • Offers long-term benefits for overall improved skin quality
  • Achieving tighter, firmer skin and boosting long-term collagen production
  • Stretch Marks and scar refinement
  • Treating acne scars
  • Smoothening uneven texture and pore refinement
  • Adressing Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Evening out skin tone and pigment

The Opus laser treatment can improve your appearance in various ways. As mentioned above, it can help smooth out the skin and make you look significantly younger. However, it can also be used to make other types of improvements. For example, some people have dark patches on their faces that stand out from the rest of the skin. This is known as hyperpigmentation, and it’s a condition that can often be corrected using the Opus.

We may also suggest Opus treatment for scar revision on your face left by acne or some type of trauma or , stretch marks .

The Two Treatment Options

Opus Plasma Treatment

Unique fractional RF technology both ablates and heats the skin, while RF energy generates plasma sparks that create micro-channels in the skin, together with dermal coagulation.

UniFace Treatment

Combining Unipolar RF technology with a detachable rotating massage ring, UniFace delivers deep dermal heating while increasing circulation within the dermis, tightening skin and improving laxity, wrinkles and rhytids on facial skin.
